The DCH Health System is pleased to award scholarships for students choosing the healthcare field for their future profession. All scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified applicants meeting the criteria, as judged by the Scholarship Committee. Students interested in applying for any scholarship need only submit one completed application packet.
Requirements
Interested applicants must be:
1. Currently enrolled (or accepted for enrollment) at an accredited college or university.
Entering Freshman (recent high school graduate) – Must have a high school grade point average of 3.0 or better (based on a 4.0 grading scale) as a full-time high school student. College Student – Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better (based on a 4.0 grading scale while taking 12 hours of class work). Must be eligible for continued enrollment.
2. Majoring in (or enrolling with the intent to major in) a healthcare discipline.
Process
A completed 2011-2012 DCH Scholarship Application packet must be submitted, in its entirety, to the DCH Foundation Office by 5:00pm on March 31, 2011. (Incomplete and/or late submissions will not be considered.)
